Most Common Smartphone Problems
Our customers often have problems like
Smartphone Liquid Damage
Dropping a phone in a toilet, sink, or bathtub is an accident that owners hope they will never experience themselves. A moment of carelessness does result in a damaged smartphone that needs professional repair or replacement. if your phone takes a spill, remove it from the liquid immediately. The longer it stays there, the more liquid will seep into the crack around your screen or into various inlets. Turn the phone off and leave it off. Remove the protective case. If possible, open the back and remove the battery, SIM card, and microSD card. If not, skip this step. Use a cloth or paper towel to dab your phone dry. Do not rub the phone dry, because it could accidentally push liquid into the phone’s more sensitive parts. If the phone was completely submerged, you might try vacuuming around the phone’s cracks and openings to suck more water out. Resist the urge to bake your phone in the sun. Keep it in a cool, dry place. ITspot technician will be able to disassemble your water damaged phone and using ultrasonic bath clean motherboard and surrounding parts.
Connection Problems
Inability to pick up any wireless Internet is an additional cause for repair. This problem often stems from firmware errors or similar issues with the operating system. Related phone problems include apps that do not download or install correctly. If, after some digging, you’ve determined that your phone is truly at fault, start with a simple reboot. This will reset all your phone’s wireless connections. If you’d rather not turn your phone off and on again, try turning airplane mode on and off instead – this will have pretty much the same effect. You can also reset all your network settings, which will wipe out any information on your phone about Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data connections. In Android, go to Settings> System> Advanced> Reset options and Reset Wi-Fi, mobile and Bluetooth, then confirm your choice by tapping on Reset settings. On iOS, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Battery Malfunction
As soon as you notice your battery charge is dropping faster than usual, reboot the phone. Apple, Android or Google services aren’t the only culprits; third-party apps can also get stuck and drain the battery. If your phone keeps killing the battery too fast even after a reboot, check the battery information in Settings. Fast charging could be slowly killing your battery. Faster charging will make your battery fail prematurely no matter what safeguards are in place. Batteries perform at its best in the first 2 years. But once the first 2 years are up, they start declining. If your battery doesn’t seem to power your phone for long, it’s likely a sign that its time to replace it. Sometimes, when a battery goes bad, the internal cells rupture and cause a bulge to appear in the battery. Batteries bulge when they undergo undesirable chemical reactions. If you do not want your battery bulging, make sure you prevent it from overheating. Overheated battery – Excess heat generation often happens when you plug in your phone for charging. If you feel your device is getting too hot, it may be because of your battery.
